It started with my own mess, honestly. Three project folders named "Final_FINAL_v2" sitting on my desktop, each containing slightly different versions of the same documentation. I was consulting for a tech startup in Palmdale, and their document chaos made my own look organized.

That's when it clicked — if someone like me, who considers himself reasonably organized, was drowning in documentation mayhem, what were other businesses going through? So I started sketching out ideas for a system that could actually keep project documents where they belong.

The breakthrough moment: Realizing that document management isn't about perfect systems — it's about systems that work even when everything else is falling apart.
